The RD1U - CAR1717 Series is our Rugged 1U LCD display drawer with an Optically Bonded Sealed 17” LCD Monitor. This monitor has high contrast ratios and wide viewing angles with resolution at SXGA (1280x1024). The display is stowed flat above the keyboard and tilts back for use.

The Clam Shell design is held open with two 30 lbs heavy-duty Torque hinges with a maximum opening of 96 Degs from closed. Ball bearing slides are Integrated along with mounting brackets to allow installation in any standard 19” Rack enclosure or Transit Case. The drawer is held closed by keyed cam lock or optional Thumb Latches.

The RD1U - CAR1717 Series is configured with a Nema 4 Rated Keyboard with a 5 level adjustable back light which can be viewed with knight vision goggles.

Standard Finish is Black Powder Coated Light Texture but, it can be customized to any color or logo.
